OCS Mission Statement

   The 2nd Bn (OCS), 218th Regt (Leadership) trains and evaluates selected soldiers in the fundamentals of leadership and basic military skills; evaluates their leadership abilities, instills in them the Army professional ethic and commissions those who qualify as second lieutenants in the Army National Guard.

History of PMA

    The 2nd Bn (OCS), 218th Regt (Leadership) is located in Eastover, SC at the McCrady Training Center. Founded in 1950, PMA recieved Federal recognition as an accredited National Guard Officer Candidate School on June 1, 1950.
