ELIGIBILITY/COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMEN
1. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM CURRENT
MEMBERS OF THE SCARNG IN THE WARRANT OFFICER GRADES OF WO1 THRU CW2. WARRANT
OFFICERS THAT ARE NOT ALREADY QUALIFIED THAT APPLY FOR THIS JOB MUST HAVE A
PREAPPROVED PACKET FROM THE PROPONENT TO RECLASS TO 251A AND MUST BECOME MOS
QUALIFIED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF HIRE.
2. SELECTED APPLICANT MUST BECOME COMSEC
CUSTODIAN QUALIFIED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF HIRE.
3. INDIVIDUALS NOT IN THE AGR PROGRAM MUST HAVE
A CURRENT PERIODIC HEALTH ASSESSMENT (PHA) BEFORE THEY CAN ENTER THE AGR PROGRAM.
THE PERIODIC HEALTH ASSESSMENT MUST BE CURRENT WITHIN ONE YEAR. ALL SELECTEES MUST COMPLETE A NEGATIVE HIV
SCREENING WITHIN 24 MONTHS AND DRUG TEST WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DATE OF HIRE.

THREE-QUARTER LENGTH IN CLASS "A" OR ACU UNIFORM TAKEN WITHIN THE

8. APPLICANT MUST NEVER HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OR
NOT CURRENTLY CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR
ASSAULT OR
1. If an
enlisted Soldier, must be 18 years of age and not have
reached his or her 55th birthday. If an
officer, must be able to complete 3 years in an AGR status prior to mandatory
removal date.
2. Must be
able to serve at least five years in an active military status (AGR) prior to
completing 18 years of active federal service on the individual's mandatory
removal date.
3. Must meet
medical standards prescribed by chapters 2, 4, or 5, AR 40-501 within the 24
months preceding the first day of AGR tour.
4. Must meet
body composition/weight control standards prescribed by AR 600-9.
5. Must not
be a candidate for an elective office or holding a civil office.
6. Must not
be under a current suspension of favorable personnel actions.
7. Applicants must not be eligible for, nor
receiving, federal annuities.
8.
Individuals with 15 or more years active
service (full-time National Guard or Active Duty) are ineligible for initial
entry into the AGR program.
9.
Individuals who voluntarily resign from the AGR program in lieu of
adverse personnel actions, or those involuntarily separated from the program
are not eligible to reenter the program.
10. Individuals who have been separated from other
military services for cause, unsuitability or unfitness for military service
(other than temporary medical disability) are
ineligible to enter the program.
11. Military
duty personnel will participate with their unit of assignment during unit
training assemblies and annual training periods.
12. The initial tour of duty will be three years.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING APPLICATION: Individuals desiring consideration for this
position must forward below listed documents to arrive in the AGR office PRIOR
to 1700 hours on the closing date.
Applications arriving late or the absence of any of the listed documents
will be cause for rejection of the application.
