DESCRIPTION OF
DUTIES:
This position is located in the Air Operations Division of an Air National Guard Tactical Fighter Group/Wing, or an ANG Tactical Airlift Unit. The purpose of the position is to perform aircraft dispatch duties in the Operations Dispatch Center/Air Operations Center and provide administrative support for aircrews and flight instructors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
General: Experience, education, or training which demonstrates the applicants’ ability to interpret, explain, and/or apply a variety of regulations and procedures.

Specialized GS-09:
To be rated “Qualified,” applicants must possess twenty-four
(24) month’s of specialized experience in EACH of the following
elements. Describe in detail how and where you gained the experience and the
“from” and “to” dates of experience for each job element.
I. Experience in arranging or procuring transportation for personnel, cargo, or freight.
II. Experience in pre or post auditing of freight bills, bills of lading, and personnel transportation.
III. Experience in coordinating and negotiating with other organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve
differences/problems.
IV. Experience which included responsibility for the supervision and management of personnel.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: A maximum of 12 months of the required experience may be substituted by successful completion of undergraduate study in an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester hours for 12 months of experience. The education must have been in fields directly related to the type of work of the position (i.e., traffic management, business administration, etc.).
